Emma Claire discovered a little silver cross necklace in her room last night. It had not been worn yet, so we took it out of the package and she has hardly taken it off since. We talked about how the cross stands for Jesus and she seemed to get it.
Today, on the way to school (she was insisted on wearing the necklace this morning) she says "Mommy, I will show Jesus my necklace when I get to school".

First Field Trip
Emma Claire's class took a field trip to Brookview Park. This was Emma Claire's first field trip...a big day! They traveled there via the 6 red seater buggy.
Her "Playful Little Pirate Daily News" report...
Emma Claire had a great day! She had lots of fun on our picnic in the park. "The Flyers" sang a choo choo song that Emma Claire liked. She was dancing as she ate! The wooden train whistle he had was pretty neat and not as scary as the real thing!

Mothers Day Tea
.jpg)
I love everything about Emma Claire's school. The environment, the teachers, the activities, the christian based teaching... They do an unbelievable job and I feel very fortunate that Emma Claire has the opportunity to be there. Emma Claire invited Marjorie and Diane to join us for a Mothers Day Tea. The children put on a little program of Mothers Day songs followed by a "formal" tea complete with white tablecloths and china. Emma Claire went crazy for the "tea" (pink lemonade) out of the teacup. Only fine china for her from now on!
