I love this photo. It is next to impossible to get a picture of Emma Claire and Arnold together and I have very few good ones. They are playing on daddy in the is one.

Incident

When I picked up Arnold at school on Friday of last week, there was an incident report waiting to be signed. This time, it was not because Arnold got hurt. No... It was because he bit a kid.

My sweet little Arnold bit a friend in the baby room. All because of a disagreement over the jack in the box. And, not only did he bite one kid, he bit another in the same day! They only wrote up one report though, because it did not hurt the other little boy.

Emma Claire was never a biter. It is amazing how different the two of them are. Arnold is certainly full of life and full of energy and noise and curiosity.

Dance Lessons

A few lessons into class, Emma Claire finally told me why she didn't want to participate in dance - "my shoes are too little" - a size and a half too small, I discovered, when we went to get new ones...)
Emma Claire is now loving dance lessons in her size 10 tap tap shoes.

Extended Summer

8 days above 80 so far this October. Record heat for this time of year in Minnesota. Making the most of it...

Arboretum

The fall colors here are at their finest right now. Hands down my favorite time of year. Even more so this year since the weather has been so warm. I took the kids out to the arboretum (Whitney's ultra fancy lens in tow - thanks again, Whitney) last weekend in hopes of getting some fall foliage photos. Well, the trip out there was sort of a bust, however, we did discover the cute little play area just before we packed it up to come home and I was able to get some pictures there.
