One of my favorite outings with the kids is to the Linden Hills neighborhood in Minneapolis. On this day we did a picnic at the park and walked to Sebastian Joe's for some extra yummy ice cream.

Goooooal!
Emma Claire started her summer Parks & Rec class this week. This year she is taking "Beginning Ball Skills" every Wednesday morning. Every two weeks, they expose the kids to a different ball sport. The first two classes are soccer. They played little games with the soccer ball and taught the kids the basics of how to kick and handle the ball. Everyone had some turns making a "goal".
Mothers Day Tea 2012
I love each and every program the kids participate in at Calvary, but one of the highlights of the year for me is the Mothers Day program and tea. This is the first year that Emma Claire sang every song. Arnold also participated (last year he was carted in as a member of the infant room). He thoroughly enjoyed the performance, as did I.
Cotton Candy
Addie's sweet Papa Hans took the girls on a Wednesday outing to Como Town. They rode the rides, giggled, had treats and enjoyed a fun day. Emma Claire especially loved the cotton candy.
Como Zoo

We love Como Zoo. Arnold is now old enough to enjoy zoo outings and his favorite animal was the duck. Emma Claire's was, naturally, the pink Flamingos.
